No more tracks for now
In any case, the half-run-half-walk-puking three rounds was a head start. Already I had proclaimed to Monet that I was feeling psychologically thinner. To which he laughed like it was some kinda hilarious joke and told me to call him back when I achieved the same result physically.

Yesterday was also both my best girlie and younger sister's birthdays. HAPPY BIRTHDAY-s again !! Also, just so the both of you know, I have less than twenty bucks in both pockets added together to feed myself for the next infinite period of time so don't expect any diamond rings.
Donkey years since I last ran a measurable distance, and yesterday with the guilt and growing evidence of half a dozen of moon-cakes in me, I set out to half run half walk an amazing three rounds at the stadium. Ok it might not sound that amazing to you, but it was to me. After all I almost puked. Or felt like puking. They were both same. Although I would prefer straight out puking than wanting to puke but couldn't. Being all nauseous felt like shit.

yesterday was the fifteen day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. where a bright full moon (the biggest of the year, I heard) shone and round palm-sized moon-cakes signifying family unity and perfection were exchanged and eaten with family and friends. as a kid I used to know the day as lantern day. when I walked around the deliberately dimmed-down estate or park carrying a small battery-operated doggie lantern that sang some Chinese tune in a single tone. last night I lost count of the number of powerpuff-girls and finding-nemos lanterns with polyphonic tunes that the z-generation were prancing around with. how technology progresses.
::at boat quay where a gigantic dragon stood, and fireworks go off at night.
I was beat. but couldn't get to sleep. I couldn't remember the last time this happened for a long stretch. bedtimes being elastically stretched for a couple of hours of tossing and turning on bed -- that translated into a struggle to wake up the following morning, being beady-eyed for the better part of the day and panda-eyed for the rest of the week.

KCS
I met up with my primary (elementary) school classmates on sat. yea, you heard right, pri sch. 11 years. since we graduated in our little kiddie grad gowns. even then that didn't stop us from reminiscing about those days like they were yesterdays. gawd, all those embarrassing stories too. about him and her, and her and him. and all those zig zag criss crossings of puppy loves and hates. about cupboard pledges and hamsters by the windows (or were they fishes/frogs ?). about king midas and being caught by bs for calling her ... eh bs. heh heh. about my long time crush, who still lives less than 3 mins away from me. here are some candid shots.

Shades of grey
Peace.
I wouldn't be around for at least a week or two. So go, have some fun, and hopefully, see you back soon.
Peace.
